Jamnagar authorities demolish two bungalows of gangster Razak Saicha

Jamnagar: Authorities today carried out a demolition drive against illegal encroachments in the city. The district authorities razed the two bungalows of notorious gangster Razak Saicha, which were built on encroached government land.

The demolition drive was carried out under heavy police bandobast in the Bedi area of the city, where the Saicha brothers had built the illegal bungalows and were allegedly running gambling and other illegal operations from those bungalows.

Earlier also the administrators had demolished premises linked with Saicha. It is noteworthy that the complaint was filed in the land-grabbing law just a day before, and today the demolition was carried out today itself.

Premsukh Delu, Superintendent of Police, Jamnagar, stated, “In the jurisdiction of City-B Division police station, several crimes are registered against Razak and Sikandar Saicha, who are known as a notorious gang in the area. One female teacher had committed suicide due to their fear, and Razak is in jail in that case. They were harassing the public in the area for a long time. CM Patel and MoS Home had instructed us to take strict action to stop these notorious gangsters from harassing the public. In this matter, the district administration today is demolishing these two bungalows built on this government survey. District police and District administration want to assure the public that we will keep on taking actions against any criminal activities in Jamnagar.”

“I also want to express my thanks to the City B Division police station and the whole police department for carrying out excellent work,” he added. DeshGujarat
