Dehgam: Amdavad Municipal Transport Service(AMTS) recently took a policy decision to offer local bus service up to 30 km area outside the limit of the city. The earlier limit was 20 km. Thanks to this decision, a new bus service connecting Dehgam to Ahmedabad was launched on Wednesday.

The new route will travel from Naroda bus terminus to Bayad chokdi near Palaiya. The route number is 125/2.

Local traders’ association chief Atul Shah and other leading locals welcomed the first bus arrived on this route. AMTS has allocated four buses on this 22.40 km long route with the daily 32 trips. DeshGujarat
