Bhavnagar: Over a dozen youths from Kshatriya community today staged protest at a public meeting of BJP, seeking withdrawal of candidature of Rajkot Lok Sabha seat candidate Parshottam Rupala.

A public meeting was held ahead of nomination filing of Bhavagar Lok Sabha seat BJP candidate Nimuben Bambhaniya. One of the protesting youths Ravirajsinh went to the stage and handed over his resignation from the party demanding withdrawal of Parshottam Rupala’s candidature.

MLA Jitubhai Vaghani, Lok Sabha member Bhartiben Shiyal among others were on the stage when this happened. The protesting youths had black scarves in their hands and they were chanting slogans against Parshottam Rupala.

Kshatriya organizations mainly in Saurashtra are protesting Rajkot Lok Sabha seat BJP candidate and union Agriculture Minister Parshottam Rupala’s remarks for which Rupala had apologized twice in public. DeshGujarat
