PM Modi in Sabarkantha to campaign for BJP in Lok Sabha polls 2024

Himmatnagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing a public rally in Himmatnagar as he embarks on a two-day visit to Gujarat to campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections.

PM Narendra Modi in Sabarkantha said,”When you sent me to Delhi in 2014, you sent me there to face challenges and fight them. This soil has that power; the world saw that power in Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel. This soil raised and nurtured me, and I serve this country day and night.”

“Congress used to say that there would be riots if the temple is built, but was there any fire in the country when the Pran Pratishtha happened? The country celebrated it like a festival…There was no fire in the country, but the fire in the heart of Congress cannot be doused… Trustees of Ram Mandir forgave all those who opposed the temple and invited them to Pran Pratishtha, but they rejected it only to play vote bank politics.”

“They used to say that if Article 370 is removed from J&K, then the nation will break, and rivers of blood will flow in the country…They used to say that no one would pick up the Tiranga in Jammu & Kashmir… Article 370 was abolished, and today Tiranga is flying high in Lal Chowk” he added.

PM added, “Before 10 years, there used to be terrorist attacks like 26/11 and bomb blasts in several parts of the country, but then the government used to send dossiers to Pakistan saying that your people came and did bomb blasts…But today’s government does not send dossiers; instead, it gives doses to the kingpins of terror, enters their houses, and kills them.”

“Gujarat will give the highest number of votes, the maximum number of victories at each booth, and all the seats…A primary teacher Shobhnaben is contesting polls from Sabarkantha; Haribhai Patel is contesting polls from Mehsana; and CJ Chavda is contesting in the bypolls of Vijapur assembly seat. CJ Chavda, even when he was in Congress, never ignored any of my words… When you vote for them, the vote will directly go to Modi. Every vote of yours will make Modi stronger… Also, you can not forget the hard work that Bhupendrbhai is doing for the development of Gujarat, this victory will further strengthen the development journey of Gujarat.. I am seeing a very bright future of Gujarat” said PM Modi during the rally in Sabarkantha

PM Modi also said, “Voters aged 18-20 won’t even know the situation of the nation before you sent Modi to Delhi. There used to be hoardings saying that if you see any unclaimed thing, bag, or tiffin, do not touch it and inform the police because if such things were found, bomb blasts used to take place. The country used to live in such fear…After Modi, all these things stopped not because such people left terrorism, but because they know that this can’t be done as long as Modi is there.”

Earlier, the Prime Minister addressed his first public meeting in Deesa of Banaskantha. PM stated there that he will not be satisfied with a victory on all Lok Sabha seats of Gujarat; rather, he wants victory at every polling booth in the state. The Prime Minister also attacked the main opposition party, Congress, for spreading fake videos. PM said that Congress’s ‘Mohabbat Ki Dukan’ has turned into the ‘fake factory’.

Tomorrow, on the second day of his trip, May 2nd, PM Modi will hold a rally at Shastri Ground in Anand around 10 am, aiming to garner support for BJP candidates from the Anand and Kheda Lok Sabha constituencies.

Subsequently, at 12 noon, PM Modi will address a rally near Trimandir Grounds on the Surendranagar-Rajkot Road to bolster support for Lok Sabha constituencies, including Surendranagar, Rajkot, and Bhavnagar.

At 2:15 pm, while covering the Junagadh, Porbandar, and Amreli Lok Sabha seats, Modi will address a public meeting at Krushi Vishwavidyalaya in Junagadh. Following this, in what will mark his final public engagement on this trip, PM Modi will address a gathering at Pradarshan Ground in Jamnagar around 4:15 pm, focusing on the Jamnagar Lok Sabha and Porbandar Vidhansabha seats.”
