Ahmedabad records 46.6º Celsius; Red Alert for Heatwave continues

Ahmedabad: As forecasted by the Indian Meteorological Department in its bulletin, the city recorded a temperature of 46.6º Celsius today. Moreover, there seems to be no relief for the Amdavdis as the red alert for the heatwave continues till May 25th morning.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the city is expected to remain at or above 45 º Celsius. The weather agency has issued a red alert for today and tomorrow, followed by an orange alert until May 27th.
