AMC’s Mission Million Trees campaign, RRR vans, Metro feeder E-buses, River Drive West bus route launched

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Chief Minister today launched the ‘Mission Three Million Trees’ campaign by planting trees. The campaign by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) aims to plant as many as 30 lakh trees in the city.
In a program organized by AMC, the Chief Minister also launched E-buses of the Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) that will be on roads on the newly launched Metro Connectivity Feeder routes and Riverfront route.
Also launched today were the RRR (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) vans of AMC that will roam through the city. Citizens will be able to donate their surplus old clothes, shoes, household items, toys, books, small furniture, etc., to AMC’s RRR (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) vans. These items donated by the citizens will be reused or recycled through proper processes.
