17 talukas in Gujarat report rainfall; Babra tops chart with 1.5 inches in 2 hours

Amreli: Babra taluka in Gujarat’s Amreli district received over 1.5 inch (45mm) of rain on Monday between 4 pm and 6 pm, according to official records from the State Emergency Operation Centre in Gandhinagar.
Across the state, a total of 17 talukas reported rainfall by 6 pm today. Babra in Amreli and Garidhar in Bhavnagar received over an inch of rain, while Lilia in Amreli and Kanvant in Chota Udepur received around 0.98 inches of rain.
The IMD has forecasted light to moderate rain in several districts of Gujarat over the next five days. DeshGujarat
