CHC in Jamjodhpur to be upgraded to a 100-bed hospital
June 29, 2024
Jamnagar: The Government of Gujarat has approved the upgradation of the community health center (CHC) in Jamjodhpur to a 100-bed hospital. With this development, the people of Jamjodhpur and nearby villages will no longer have to travel to other cities during emergencies.
The CHC has been operating in Jamjodhpur for many years, but with limited facilities, causing many people to seek medical attention in other cities. The population of Jamjodhpur has also significantly increased, further straining the existing facilities at the CHC.
After a long-standing demand for more facilities, the government has now approved the upgradation of the CHC into a 100-bed hospital. With this upgradation, multiple medical equipment and specialist doctors will be available to provide care to patients under one roof. DeshGujarat
