This unusual scenario became a reality recently in Atiya Faliya village of Surat, sparking panic among residents. With the monsoon season underway, such incidents of snake sightings have surged in rural Gujarat.

A spectacled cobra cub was spotted inside a shoe left outside Hitu alias Hitesh Desai’s residence in Atiya Faliya village. This baby snake, known for its neotoxin venom, alarmed locals as it hissed and raised its hood.

Responding swiftly to the situation, members of the Jeevdaya organization from nearby Kani village rushed to the scene. With expertise and caution, the snakelet was safely captured and relocated to a secure area away from residential zones.
