Vadodara: A complaint has been filed at Makarpura Police Station against a pet dog owner after he allegedly unleashed his dog, which bit a 7-year-old girl.
The incident took place in Mangala Green Society in Tarsali while Varsha Paade, wife of a merchant navy officer, was walking with her daughter. Varsha encountered the accused, Shashikant Moghe, as he was walking his dog. She alleged that Moghe was staring at her and then suddenly unleashed his German Shepherd, signaling it in some way. The dog ran towards Varsha’s daughter, Janvi, and bit her leg, causing her to bleed. Neighbors quickly gathered, but Moghe left the scene, threatening Varsha.
Varsh approached the police, which booked Moghe in relevant sections of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). DeshGujarat
