July 10, 2024
Vadodara: The Gorwa Madhunagar bridge will be closed from today until July 15 due to girder launching work for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project. The closure aims to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of drivers during the construction.
The traffic ban affects vehicles travelling from the Madhunagar crossroads to Chhani Jakatnaka via the Madhunagar bridge. It also applies to vehicles heading towards Fatehgunj Circle and Chhani Jakatnaka Circle from Navayard-Fulwadi crossroads.
During the closure, vehicles can use an alternative route: from Madhunagar crossroads, proceed towards Gorwa Bapu ni Dargah Tran Rasta, then to Amar Car Tran Rasta Genda Circle, and Pandya Bridge upper side. From there, turn left at Fatehgunj Circle and move towards the Nizampura Delux crossroads. Continue to Mehsana Nagar crossroads, turn left at Sainik Chhatralaya Circle, proceed to Dharampuri Circle, turn right to Chistiya Nagar Tran Rasta, and turn left to reach Chhani Jakatnaka Circle.
