ABVP launches membership campaign to enroll 4 lakh students in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: The largest organization of students, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) will launch a large-scale membership campaign aiming to enroll 4 lakh students across Gujarat in the upcoming academic year. This campaign will be executed in two distinct phases, targeting schools and colleges.

The first phase will focus on enrolling students from the 11th and 12th standards in schools from July 19 to 29. Following this, from August 1 to 12, the second phase will extend to universities and colleges across the state. ABVP aims to engage students through town and campus executives, to enroll them as members within the next month.

ABVP plans to actively recruit students by highlighting various service activities and initiatives under the motto “Chhatra Shakti ae Rashtra Shakti.” Additionally, ABVP will soon announce the recruitment of over 700 campus executives and 200 town executives statewide to support its organizational goals.

Moreover, ABVP aims to honor India’s martyrs and historical figures, promoting their legacy among students and youth. Special nationwide programs will be held on the 300th birth anniversary of Punyashloka Ahilyabai Holkarji. Additionally, ABVP plans to emphasize the importance of sports by promoting youth engagement through initiatives like ‘Khelo Bharat’ and ‘City Olympics’ nationwide in the upcoming year.

ABVP Gujarat State Minister Samarth Bhatt expressed, “There is immense enthusiasm for ABVP in Gujarat’s academic circles, especially among students who are eager to contribute to the nation-building ideals of the Vidyarthi Parishad.
