Surat: The local police have arrested three individuals for allegedly selling narcotics under the guise of a pan shop.
Acting on a tip-off that some people were selling MD drugs disguised as snacks and pan, the local police conducted a raid. During the operation, the three accused—Moin, Zafar, and Rashid—were caught with 100 grams of MD drugs valued at ₹10 lakh.
The police have filed a case against the three accused under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and have initiated further investigation.
The probe aims to identify the suppliers and buyers involved in this drug trade, track the origins and destinations of the seized MD drugs, and prevent further narcotics-related activities. DeshGujarat
