Gujarat CM conducts aerial inspection of rain-affected Saurashtra

Jamnagar: To assess the situation caused by heavy rains in Devbhoomi Dwarka and Jamnagar districts, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, today conducted an aerial inspection of the affected areas with Chief Secretary Shri Rajkumar.

The Chief Minister’s Additional Chief Secretary, Shri Pankaj Joshi, and Director General of Police, Shri Vikas Sahay, also joined the inspection.

The Chief Minister arrived at Jamnagar Airport at 3:30 p.m., after which he conducted an aerial inspection of areas affected by heavy rains in the Devbhoomi Dwarka district.

Before the Chief Minister’s visit, a meeting was chaired by District Collector B.K. Pandya. During the meeting, the Collector instructed officials to ensure all preparations for the Chief Minister’s arrival were completed. He also gathered information from officials about the current status of Chandipura virus and cholera in the district, as well as updates on dams and roads, and conducted a necessary review.

Attending the meeting were District Development Officer Vikalp Bhardwaj, Superintendent of Police Premsukh Delu, Additional Collector B.N.
