GUJCET 2025 Exam date, syllabus, and paper style announced

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has announced the date for the GUJCET 2025 exam. According to the official statement, the GUJCET will be held on 23/03/2025, Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at district-level centers.
The GUJCET examination is mandatory as a common entrance test for admission to Degree Engineering and Degree/Diploma Pharmacy Courses for Higher Secondary Science stream students.
The date for ONLINE submission of the GUJCET-2025 application form and the information booklet will be announced later on the board’s website at www.gseb.org.
The syllabus for the GUJCET-2025 examination will be based on the NCERT textbooks for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics for Class-12 Science Stream, as prescribed by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.
Exam Structure for GUJCET:
The Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) will consist of multiple-choice questions on the following subjects. The number of questions, marks, and time allotted are detailed below:

The question paper for Physics and Chemistry will be combined, comprising 40 questions from Physics and 40 questions from Chemistry. The total will be 80 questions, worth 80 marks, with 120 minutes allocated for this section. The OMR answer sheet will accommodate 80 answers.
The question papers for Biology and Mathematics will be separate. Each will consist of 40 questions, worth 40 marks, with 60 minutes allotted for each subject. Separate OMR answer sheets will be provided for Biology and Mathematics, each accommodating 40 answers.
The exam will be available in English, Hindi, and Gujarati medium. DeshGujarat
