Cricketer Anshuman Gaekwad dies of cancer in Vadodara

Vadodara: Indian cricketer Aunshuman Gaekwad passed away in Vaddoara today. He was 71 and battling against cancer. About a month ago, he returned from England to Vadodara where he continued his medical treatment. In his 22 years career, he played 40 tests and 205 first class matches of cricket. He also later became coach of the Indian cricket squad. The BCCI had recently decided to release INR 1 crore for the treatment of blood cancer of Gaekwad. DeshGujarat
