Vadodara: Police team raided Makarpura GIDC based scrap godown of Riyaz Khan in Vadodara in connection with Rs. 5.87 crore worth theft of stainless steel pipes from L&T compnay in Hazira, Surat.

Surat police team conducted search at Riyaz’s godown jointly with Manjalpur police station team from Vadodara. Search was also conducted at Riyaz’s house. Riyaz is on run meanwhile. Hazira police in Surat has so far nabbed three suspects in pipe theft case. Riyaz’s role has emerged in pipe theft case during questioning of these suspectes.
