DCM Shriram Ltd. commissions Hydrogen Peroxide plant in Bharuch

Bharuch: DCM Shriram Ltd, on Monday announced the commissioning of a Hydrogen Peroxide (H₂O₂) plant with an annual capacity of 52,500 tonnes at its chemical complex in Jhagadia, in the Bharuch.
The plant, which became operational on August 19, 2024, will utilize hydrogen produced at the same complex.
“H₂O₂ will expand our chemicals business product portfolio and is a downstream product of the hydrogen produced at the Chemicals complex. It is noteworthy that Hydrogen Peroxide has numerous applications, ranging from a bleaching agent to water and wastewater treatment, chemical synthesis, food processing, mining and metallurgy, and environmental applications,” the company said.
