Surat: The Gujarat High Court on Friday instructed the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) to unseal the gaming zone facility, Lets Jump Trampoline & Adventure Pvt Ltd, so it can initiate the process of obtaining a license and necessary permits as per the law and the newly established regulations.

Justice Sangeeta Vishen ruled that the gaming zone must not operate until it secures the required license under the new rules. The operators have been directed to submit an undertaking regarding this matter, and the High Court has scheduled the next hearing for August 29.

Following the fire at the Rajkot TRP Game Zone on May 25, a division bench of the High Court had imposed a ban on all such activities statewide until further notice. DeshGujarat
