Ahmedabad airport issues passenger advisory amid heavy rains in city

Ahmedabad: Given the continuous heavy rains in the city since Sunday and the forecast for more rain over the next few days, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport in the city has issued a passenger advisory requesting travelers to check their flight schedules and allow extra time for check-in processes.
In a message posted on X (formerly Twitter), the airport management said, “Due to the prediction of heavy rain over the next few days in Ahmedabad, we request passengers to check flight schedules with their respective airlines before leaving for the airport. Passengers traveling through SVPI Airport are advised to allocate additional time for check-in processes for a seamless travel experience. Our teams are working round the clock to ensure a comfortable journey.”
