Mansa, Dehgam get heavy rain; list of talukas that got 1 inch+ rain on Friday morning

Gandhinagar: Mansa taluka in Gandhinagar district witnessed heavy rain with nearly 3 inches of downpour in just 2 hours, from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. this morning. The two talukas that received heavy rain this morning from 6 a.m. to 12 noon were Mansa, followed by Dehgam with 2.83 inches of rain. Kapadvanj taluka in Kheda also received 2.09 inches of rain, and these three were the only talukas that received over an inch of rain during this period.

As of 12 noon, only 73 talukas had witnessed rain, and out of these, only 19 talukas received more than half an inch of rain, suggesting that the monsoon, which was vigorous over the state of Gujarat last week, has now subsided, with only light rains taking place. DeshGujarat
