Ahmedabad: Dholera International Airport Company Limited (DIACL) has issued a tender inviting bids for the construction of a modern terminal building to serve both domestic and international passengers at the Greenfield International Airport in the Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR).
For the first phase, DIACL has invited bids for the construction of radar infrastructure, including Air Surveillance Radar (ASR), Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar (MSSR), an antenna tower, and related works at Dholera airport. The project, estimated at Rs 19 crore (excluding GST), has a submission deadline of September 24, with technical bids opening on September 30 and financial bids on October 10.
DIACL has set a six-month timeline for completing this phase, which includes the construction of approach roads and supporting infrastructure for future expansion. Earlier this year, DIACL issued a work order for the construction of an integrated terminal, ATC, cargo complex, and other facilities at a cost of Rs 3,300 crore, with the airport expected to be operational by 2025-26.
