Kalupur: The Ahmedabad Crime Branch apprehended two individuals near Kalupur metro station and confiscated 1 kg of charas from them.

The accused, identified as Rauf Raees Qureshi and Mohammad Wasim Abrar Hussain Kidwai, both hail from Uttar Pradesh. Acting on a tip-off, the police found 1.138 kg of charas valued at Rs 1,70,700 on the accused duo, who have been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

Authorities are also investigating to locate Salman, a Gomtipur resident, who was allegedly meant to receive the drugs. DeshGujarat
