Ahmedabad airport lounge denies access on several legit bank cards; passengers voice frustrations

Ahmedabad: Several passengers traveling from Sardar Vallabhbhai International Airport in the city have complained about not getting lounge access.
According to airport sources, there have been some issues with the lounge service provider company, Dreamfolks, which is why eligible credit card holders are not getting lounge access.
A notice posted at airport, stated, “Certain cards from American Express, MasterCard, Diners Club, HDFC, ICICI, IndusInd, Axis, Kotak Mahindra, RBL, and IDFC First Bank are currently not working due to issues with their service provider.”

A passenger tweeted, “Bad experience at Ahmedabad Airport Lounge, they’re not accepting any card of all leading banks. HDFC, ICICI. What kind of services we are getting against paying fees for these cards.”

Another said, “Denied lounge entry at Ahmedabad Airport today for no clear reason. Where is the accountability for this?”
One passenger, named Shivani, wrote, “Left stranded at Ahmedabad Airport without lounge access. No reason, no explanation. What’s going on? ”
The airport management, in reply to her tweet, wrote, “Dear Shivani, we understand your concern and regret the inconvenience caused. We would like to inform you that we are working to fix the issue at the earliest. We appreciate your understanding and hope to serve you better next time. Team SVPIA.”

Another passenger demanded transparency, saying, “Left without lounge access at Ahmedabad Airport. No valid reason given. We deserve transparency!”
