Day 2 of Amit Shah’s visit to Gujarat

Gandhinagar: On the second day of his visit to his home state of Gujarat, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to participate in 13 events within just 12 hours. Shah, who commenced his visit on the first day of Navratri with the launch of development works worth Rs. 447 crore in Ahmedabad, will today inaugurate and lay the foundation for development projects worth Rs. 472 crore in Gandhinagar.

During the second day of his Gujarat tour, Amit Shah will attend a total of 13 programs between 10 AM and 10 PM. These events include the inauguration of various projects for the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation, as well as development works in Mansa. In the evening, he will participate in the Aarti at the Bahucharaji Mataji Temple in Mansa, which is his hometown. Additionally, he will attend two different Garba programs, one in the Bopal area and the other in Sola, Ahmedabad, during the night.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has allocated Rs. 245 crore for the construction of a super-specialty hospital at Mansa’s sub-district hospital. The hospital, which will be equipped with advanced facilities and 425 beds, is expected to be completed within two years. Shah will lay the foundation stone for this hospital. Additionally, the four-lane Pilwai-Mahudi road will be inaugurated by the Union Home Minister. The newly constructed Chandrasar Lake, developed by the Mansa Municipality at a cost of more than Rs. 11 crore, will also be inaugurated. The lake features percolation wells for rainwater harvesting, with the capacity to store approximately 138 million liters of water.

The renovation of Mansa’s Malav Lake, a project costing Rs. 1.85 crore, will also be initiated by the Union Minister. Furthermore, Rs. 6.52 crore has been invested in the completion of a rising main, pump house sump, elevated tank, and distribution network in the Dhokali and Indiranagar areas. Mansa Municipality has undertaken efforts to raise the underground water level by interlinking 13 lakes in Mansa city and establishing recharge wells.

Shah will also attend an event celebrating the centenary of ADC Bank, to be held at Mahatma Mandir in the state capital. In the evening, he is also going to unveil the statue of the founder of Bilodra High School, Ishwarsinh Chavda, at an event to be held at Bilodra High School. DeshGujarat
