Porbandar: Reliance’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani attended the Ramcharit Manas Path Anushthan ceremony hosted by Rameshbhai Oza during the 43rd Ma Sharadiya Navratri Mahotsav at the Porbandar-based Sandipani Vidyapith. Kokilaben is the Manorathi of Mahisasurmardini Mata’s mandap in the Shri Hari Mandir-based garden, where the Anushthan, puja, and mantra chanting for Ma Bhagavati are ongoing. Kokilaben attended the ceremony on the 7th Norta of Navratri. She performed Panchopchar pujan, abhishek, and aarti of the Utsav Murti of the Goddess in the Mahisasur mandap.

The Sandipani campus also hosted an eye checkup camp (Netra Yagna camp) in which expert doctors from Shivananda Mission Eye Hospital checked 154 patients, of whom 43 were found in need of treatment. They will be treated at Virnagar. The Sandipani campus also hosted an equipment camp for handicapped people, where 61 patients were examined by a team of doctors from Bhavnagar-based PNR Society. Thirty-three patients were given prosthetic organs, five were given wheelchairs, and three were given tricycles.
