Valsad: Out of 251 talukas in the state, only 36 witnessed rainfall in the last 24 hours ending 6 am today, with only Kaprada experiencing a heavy downpour (ranging from 64.5 to 115.5 mm), including 89 mm (3.5 inches) of rainfall. Another taluka that received over an inch of rain was Lodhika, which recorded 40 mm (1.5 inches). Aside from these two, the remaining 34 talukas received only light showers. In another update, the Southwest Monsoon 2024 has completely withdrawn from the state as well as the entire country. The IMD has forecasted only light rains in some places of Gujarat over the next 7 days.
