Amit Shah’s Gujarat Visit: Scholarship to over 10 lakh, BJP office groundbreaking among key events

Gandhinagar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit his home state of Gujarat on Tuesday, October 22, which is also his birthday. During this visit, he will preside over several public events in Anand and the state capital, Gandhinagar.

His first program will be in Anand, where he will oversee the diamond jubilee celebration of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) and the birth anniversary of Tribhuvandas Patel, the father of the cooperative movement in India. At this event, Shah will launch several farmer welfare schemes.

In the next program, Home Minister Shah, along with Gujarat’s Chief Minister, MLAs, and other senior bureaucrats, will participate in a workshop on legislative drafting to be held in the Gujarat Assembly. This workshop is organized in collaboration with the Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary Studies and Gujarat National Law University (GNLU).

Following that, Shah will lay the foundation stone for Shree Kamalam, the office of the Gandhinagar City BJP unit, which will be constructed in Sector 8, opposite Sarita Udyan.

Later, the Home Minister will inaugurate the 14th National Conference of Civil Defence and Home Guards at the Mahatma Mandir convention center. Over 60 senior officers are expected to attend this two-day event.

At around 5:30 PM, Shah is set to award scholarships to over 10 lakh students through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) under the Namo Laxmi and Namo Saraswati programs during an event hosted by Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya.
