PM Modi to inaugurate shaded walkways, 4 MW solar panel system at Statue of Unity

Ekta Nagar: In commemoration of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, October 31st is celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. On this day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kevadia in Gujarat to take part in the Ekta Diwas celebrations at the Statue of Unity.
PM Modi is expected to arrive in Ekta Nagar on the evening of October 30th. The next day, on October 31st, the PM will first pay homage to Sardar Patel at the world’s largest statue at around 7:30 AM. At 8 AM, the PM will participate in the Ekta Diwas Parade, administer the Rashtriya Ekta Pledge, and address the gathering at the event.
Later, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several development projects. Udit Agarwal, CEO of the Statue of Unity, stated, “The PM will inaugurate a 4-megawatt solar panel system, the work for which was kicked off last year by PM Modi. We have also built shaded walkways for the convenience of tourists. The PM will inaugurate these two large walkways, each around 1 km in length.”
Police forces from Gujarat State, along with the Central Reserve Armed Force, Border Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Central Industrial Security Forces, and National Security Guards, are expected to participate in the parade, as they do every year. DeshGujarat
