Gujarat Govt restructures Ambaji Area Development and Pilgrimage Tourism Governance Authority

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has announced amendments to the structure of the Ambaji Area Development and Pilgrimage Tourism Governance Authority under the Ambaji Area Development and Pilgrimage Tourism Governance Act, 2020. This authority was originally constituted to oversee development in the Ambaji region and promote pilgrimage tourism, aligning with the state’s growth and tourism strategies.
Initially established through a government notification issued by the Urban Development and Urban Housing Department on July 13, 2021, the authority’s structure has now been redefined. The government has determined that a restructuring is necessary to enhance governance and operational efficiency.
The reconstituted Ambaji Area Development and Pilgrimage Tourism Governance Authority will now include the following members:

The senior amongst Sr. No. 1 and 2 shall perform the duties as the Chairman and the other shall be the Co-Chairman during the board meeting of the “Ambaji Area Development and Pilgrimage Tourism Governance Authority”. DeshGujarat
