Vav assembly seat bypoll: Geniben Thakor’s uncle files nomination as independent

Vav: Banaskantha Lok Sabha member Geniben Thakor’s uncle Bhuraji Thakor has filed a nomination to contest the by-election of Vav assembly seat. Bhuraji is uncle of Geniben Thakor who vacated Vav seat to continue as Lok Sabha member. Bhuraji has filed a nomination as an independent candidate. Bhuraji has been associated with ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP). He is contender to get BJP ticket to contest this by-poll. It is learnt that he filed nomination as he felt he has no chance to get BJP ticket. Bhuraji’s wife was the member of district panchayat.
