Rajkot: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) booked Assistant Sub Inspector(ASI) of Sultanpur police station in Rajkot and his aide Lok Rakshak in a bribe case today. Accused Puranchandra Saini is ASI, while other accused Shivbhadrasinh Vaghela is Lok Rakshak in Sultanpur police station in Rajkot district.

According to ACB, a complainant of this case was facing prohibition offense. The accused ASI was probing into this case. He demanded Rs. 40,000 bribe for not proposing PASA in this case. As the complainant was unwilling to pay a bribe he contacted ACB, following which a trap was arranged and accused ASI’s aide Lok Rakshak Vaghela was nabbed after he too bribe money.
