PM Modi, Spanish PM Sanchez hold roadshow in Vadodara

 

Vadodara: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez held a roadshow in Vadodara. The roadshow was around  2.8 km long, beginning at Airport Circle and ending at the Tata Airbus assembly plant, which the two leaders inaugurated. Several stages have been erected along the roadshow route, where traditional and folk performances are being held as the convoy of both Prime Ministers passes by. The Prime Ministers are traveling in a specially designed and decorated open jeep for this ‘Shobha Yatra.’ Many factories have declared a holiday, allowing people to witness the roadshow and welcome the leaders to the city.

Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez, accompanied by his spouse Begoña Gómez, arrived in Vadodara early this morning at around 1:30 a.m. After the roadshow, Sánchez, along with Prime Minister Modi, will inaugurate the Final Assembly Line Plant for C295 aircraft in Vadodara, which is being set up by Tata Advanced Systems in collaboration with Airbus Spain. Following this, both leaders will proceed to the Laxmi Vilas Palace to hold a meeting and luncheon at the Palace’s Eugine Hall. DeshGujarat
