Ahmedabad Metro trains to run for reduced hours on Diwali

Ahmedabad: Metro trains in Ahmedabad will run for reduced hours on Diwali festival evening. Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation(GMRC) has made this announcement today.
GMRC note stated: ‘Presently, Metro Train services are operational in Ahmedabad from 6:20 AM to 10:00 PM.’
‘On the occasion of Diwali festival celebration, in view of public bursting of firecrackers and its possible effects on the safety and security of passengers along with the operational safety of the Metro Rail, and as followed by other Metro Rails also, it has been decided to reduce the timing of metro train services from 06:20 AM to 7 PM for one day on 31.10.2024.’
‘Last train departure timing will be 7 PM from each terminal station i.e. Motera Stadium, APMC, Vastral Gam & Thaltej in each corridor. Please note that timetable for revenue operations will remain unchanged in PH-II Corridor.’
