Rajkot: Adrev is Gujarat Police’s first alcohol detection dog. It can find alcohol hidden in any place, using any trick. Recently in Rajkot, Adrev completed its first assignment by locating liquor in the house of a woman in Mafatiyapara area in Dhebar Colony in Rajkot. The stock of liquor was hidden, but Adrev found it as soon as it received the order from the dog handler. The woman involved was booked by police for a prohibition offense. Gujarat Police has specially trained Adrev for alcohol detection at the Naroda-based Dog Training School through senior dog training consultant Colonel Chandansinh Rathore. The training lasted for 9 months. DeshGujarat
