Gujarat Govt likely to hold Chintan Shivir in Somnath from Nov 21-23

Somnath: The Government of Gujarat is expected to hold a Chintan Shivir in Somnath from November 21st to 23rd. For the Chintan Shivir, the entire Council of Ministers, including the Chief Minister, will travel to Somnath from Gandhinagar by train. The ministers and senior officers from various government departments will travel by train on November 20th for the Chintan Shivir.
Last year, the Chintan Shivir was held in Ekta Nagar, Kevadia, famous for the world’s tallest statue, the ‘Statue of Unity.’ The primary aim of the Chintan Shivir is to review the progress of key social justice schemes and their implementation. It serves as a platform to foster dialogue and cooperation between different stakeholders to address gaps in scheme implementation.
It is learnt that the main focus points during this year’s Chintan Shivir will be employment, empowering rural areas economically, and strengthening tourism in the state. DeshGujarat
