PM Modi writes to divyang girl who gifted sketches to him and Spanish PM during Vadodara visit

Vadodara: Diya Gosai, a specially-abled student at M.S. University in Vadodara, gifted sketches of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Spanish counterpart Pedro Sánchez during their visit to the city. Later, Prime Minister Modi wrote a letter to Diya, expressing admiration for her talent and the paintings she had gifted.

Diya presented her sketches of PM Modi and PM Sánchez during their roadshow in the city on October 28. Upon spotting Diya, both leaders deboarded their vehicle to greet her and accept the sketches she had made. However, the story didn’t end there as Diya received a letter from the Prime Minister on November 1.

In his letter, the Prime Minister wrote, “It was an indescribable joy to receive the beautiful picture gift from you during the Vadodara roadshow. Even President Sánchez, who arrived from Spain, was very happy to see this beautiful picture you prepared. This kind of gesture reflects our country’s attachment and affection towards the people of Spain.”

“As Gujarati youth excel in many fields, I am sure the future of Gujarat is bright. In India’s development journey, the lives of our countrymen will become happier and richer through the opportunities available to ambitious youth. I am confident that our youth will play a leading role in building a developed India.”

The Prime Minister further expressed his hope that Diya would continue to contribute with such diligence and hard work in the fields of creation and fine arts. He also extended his best wishes to her family on the occasion of Diwali and the Vikram Samvat New Year. DeshGujarat
