2.64 lakh smart meters installed in Gujarat so far agianst total target of 1.65 crore

Vadodara: Gujarat government run Gujarat Urja Vij Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) has so far installed 2.64 lakh smart electricity meters across the State in last 10 months. The total target is set for errection of 1.65 crore smart meters.
While Uttar Gujarat Vij Nigam Ltd (UGVCL) has installed 91,013 smart meters against total approved 35,49,240, Madhya Gujarat Vij Nitam Ltd (MGVCL) has installed 46,979 smart meters against total approved 32,99,991.
For DGVL it’s 36,117 installations against 40,78,120 approved ones, while for PGVCL it’s 23,559 installations against 55,83,509 total approved smart meters. DeshGujarat
