Development of Central Park starts in GIFT City; Phase 1 likely to be ready by 2025

Gandhinagar: The construction work for a 21-acre Central Park has reportedly begun in GIFT City in Gandhinagar. This park will serve as a green space aimed at enhancing social infrastructure and is designed to host both occasional and ceremonial events, while also serving the daily needs of residents and office users.
As per a news report, the first phase of development, covering around 7 acres, is currently underway and is expected to be operational by early 2025. This phase will include a food court with restaurants and kiosks, public plazas, arrival courts, seating areas, an events ground, shaded walking and jogging tracks, cycle tracks, spillover areas on terraces, and misting features.
Meanwhile, the design work for Phase-2 of Central Park, spanning around 14 acres, is currently in progress.
As part of the Central Park, GIFT City is also developing a food and beverage facility, which will feature around 30 outlets of various sizes, including areas for ground-floor and first-floor outlets, as well as a terraced restaurant zone and kiosk-restaurants. DeshGujarat
