Dahod collector clears doubts of locals regarding survey for airport
November 17, 2024
Dahod: The local farmers from four villages in Jhalod taluka protested the ongoing survey work to set up an airport.
The locals forced to stop the survey procedure, following which the district collector held a meeting of villagers.
The district collector cleared the doubts of the locals and said that the airport would come up over only limited size of land, but for that, the survey would be conducted covering around 15 km area around the proposed airport.
He said the survey in wider area doesn’t mean that all that area would be utilized for airport, or all land would be acquired. The government would mostly prefer the government land for setting up the airport, he added in a meeting held at Kathagoda village. DeshGujarat
