CM allocates Rs. 145 crore for a new major four-lane river bridge in North Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister has given sanction for allotment of the sum of Rs. 145 crore for construction of a major bridge on river Saraswati in Sidhpur taluka of North Gujarat.
The proposed bridge will be a four-lane major bridge and it will be located on the Mahesana – Unjha – Sidhpur – Palanpur State highway.
The existing two-lane bridge over river Saraswati here was constructed as early as in the year 1959. In order to address the needs of increasing traffic, the new four lane bridge will come up on the right side of the existing old bridge.
