Gandhinagar: Surat city crime branch arrests two RTO agents accused of making fake RC books. The arrested individuals, identified as Nimesh and Hemant, had been on the run for some time. Earlier, five others were arrested in the same case. It was also revealed that one of the accused had previously been caught for making fake election cards.

– With the AMC-run Ahmedabad BRTS (Bus Rapid Transit System) shutting down the smart card system without any notice, commuters traveling on public transport are facing difficulties. There have been long lines at the ticket window, as the smart cards are not working, with people complaining that their money has been stuck in smart card wallets.
– In another incident of stray cattle menace, a stray bull attacked a youth in Bhavnagar. The youth managed to save himself from the attack with great effort. A video of the incident, which occurred on Monday, has gone viral.
– The work for the development of the domestic airport in Dahod has picked up pace after the survey work for land acquisition, and a report has been prepared. Four villages along National Highway 56 have been surveyed, and an airport map has been prepared under the guidance of three officials from the Airport Authority of India.
