Man cuts own fingers to discotinue his job as computer operator

Surat: In a strange incident, a youth from Saurasthra region, but settled nowadays in Katargam area of Surat cut his own fingers as he didn’t want to continue to work as a computer oprator.

The youth Mayur Tarpara, resident of Katargam area of Surat works at Varachha Mini Bajar based Anabh Gems pvt ltd as a computer operator. The firm is owned by his own relative. Mayur didn’t want to continue to work as a computer operator, but he was not able to express this before the owner, as the owner was his own relative. Mayur studied Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication. He had proposed to leave the job twice before his parents but they didn’t permit.

In order to stop working as computer operator permenently he strangely decided to cut his own fingers. He purchased a sharp knife from a store located at Singanpor char rasta and after four days on December 8 night he left Amroli Vedant circle to reach rignr oad near Variyav. He stopped his motorcycle and at around 10 pm he cut his own four fingers. In order to prevent extra bleeding, he had tied a thread to its wrist. He threw away the knife some distance away and then got hospitalized in Kiran hospital with the help of his friend.

Mayur later told police that he went to urinal near Variyav bridge when someone fainted him and cut his four fingers and took them away. Police had stated investigation with possibilities of tantric activity or an attack due to personal reasons. After thorough check, police came to conclusion that Mayur’s version was doubtful. After a strict questioning, Mayur admitted that he himself had cut his own fingers to discontinue the work as a head computer operator. DeshGujarat
