The Flower Show 2025 will run from January 3 to 22, with the possibility of an extension based on visitor demand.
Organized by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), the Flower Show offers an enhanced experience with new features, including a QR code system that serves as an audio guide. More than two million people are estimated to have visited the 2024 Flower Show. With this year’s plans, even more visitors are expected. Last year, the Flower Show entered the Guinness Book of World Records with its 400-meter-long flower wall.
The show is divided into six zones, each with a unique theme, featuring over 10 lakh flowers of more than 50 varieties and over 30 sculptures. The AMC aims to earn a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records this year.
Zone 1 focuses on the growth and development of the country, symbolizing India’s economic progress, development, and green future through various statues. Attractions include elephants, lotuses, vibrant arches, canopy clusters, the Konark Chakra, and more.
Zone 2 emphasizes inclusiveness and sustainability, showcasing India’s unity in diversity and the role of sustainability. The main attractions are tigers, peacocks, flamingos, camels, Asiatic lions, and canyon walls.
Zone 3 is an initiative towards a sustainable future, highlighting India’s leadership in addressing global challenges such as climate change. The zone features butterflies, seagulls, mermaids, and flower fall walls.
Zone 4 represents India’s rich culture and heritage, with displays of iconic structures like the Brihadishwar Temple, Nandi, Manastambha, and the UNESCO Globe, reflecting our glorious history.
Zone 5 is all about Flower Valley, showcasing the natural beauty of India, including attractions like Hornbill and Flower Valley.
Zone 6 depicts the future of India, with India poised to become a world leader. This zone features themes like hosting the 2036 Olympics, Gandhiji’s three monkeys, and the Vision of a Bright India.
The most special aspect this year is the idea of public participation, inspired by suggestions made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit last year. As a result, several independent corporate and government units have partnered with the flower show.
Health Minister Rishikeshbhai Patel and Minister of State for Cooperation Jagdish Vishwakarma were also present at the inaugural event.
After the inauguration of the ‘Ahmedabad International Flower Show 2025,’ all the dignitaries, including the Chief Minister, toured the various attractions of the flower show. The flower sculptures, in particular, received high praise from all attendees, including the Chief Minister.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Ahmedabad Mayor Pratibhaben Jain, Ahmedabad MLAs Darshanaben Vaghela, Amitbhai Shah, Amit Thakar, and Kaushik Jain, Deputy Mayor Jatinbhai Patel, Standing Committee Chairman Dewangbhai Dani, Municipal Commissioner M. Thennarson, and other officials and office-bearers of the Municipal Corporation. DeshGujarat
