Rajkot: Gopal Snacks has announced the commissioning of a new manufacturing facility in Nagadka, Gondal, in the Rajkot district. The plant, equipped with advanced technology and high production capacity, has begun trial operations and resumed production.

This facility replaces the temporarily closed Rajkot I unit, restoring a significant portion of the production capacity affected by a recent fire incident. The Gondal facility has an installed capacity of 87,569 MTPA, with plans for gradual capacity scaling. It is set to operate at full capacity to ensure the production of a diverse range of products.

The new plant reduces the company’s reliance on third-party manufacturing, while the Modasa and Nagpur units will continue operating at optimal levels to maintain a steady product supply during the transition. DeshGujarat
