Preliminary Exams for 30 Lakh Students of Classes 9-12 Begin in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: The preliminary examinations for about 30 lakh students in classes 9 to 12 began today, as per the academic calendar of the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
The exams will be held until January 28 across more than 12,000 government, granted, and private schools in the state. After completing these exams, students in classes 10 and 12 will have 30 days to prepare for the board exams, which will start on February 27. It is noteworthy that the preliminary exams for class 12 Science students had already commenced on January 16 and will be completed by January 21.
Most schools have completed the syllabus for classes 10 and 12. Therefore, after the preliminary exams, students will focus on revision, including solving previous years’ question papers, during the 30 days before the board exams. Meanwhile, students in classes 9 and 11 will also be preparing for their annual exams, which will start on April 7, with their regular classes continuing after these preliminary exams. DeshGujarat
