Ahmedabad: Union Home and Cooperation minister Amit Shah today dedicated two railway under bridges and several other development works of Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) here.

Shah who is also Lok Sabha member from Gandhinagar seat dedicated Rs. 13.83 crore railway under bridge at leval-crossing 243 in Sabarmati D cabin on Ahmedabad – Palanpur railway line in North West zone of AMC. Shah also dedicated Rs. 12.50 crore railway under bridge at level crossing 2 in Chenpur area in Western zone of AMC on Ahmedabad – Botad railway line.

Rs. 651 crore 37 projects Rs 95 crore inauuration and 557 crore ground breaking

Shah dedicated Rs. 95 crore worth total ten development projects including a water distribution station at Thaltej ward, a community hall in Jodhpur area, a sports complex under an over bridge in Science city area, a community hall and party plot in Maktampura ward, RR shukla chawl slums (total 83 units) redevelopment at same place in Naranpura area, Vegetable market in Bodakdev near Mansi circle, Shilaj pond, Bakrol road Shramik Suvidha kendra outside Sarkhej railway station.

He also performed ground breaking to start 27 more development works including Visat- Zundal road street development, Chandrabhaga nala RCC box drain remoulding, rain water harvestign eco block structure and pumping station work, ponds interlinking project, water distribution stations and overhead tanks, percolation wells, roof water harvesting, Khambhati wells, water distribution center near Nirma university and Maktampura along with over head tanks, women hostel in Vejalpur and Makarba, a library in Sarkhej ward, urban health centre in Sabarmati ward, food court in Sarkhej ward tp 24 fp3, Physiotherapy center in Vejalpur ward, construction of 11 anganwad in Maktampura, Vejalpura, Sarkhej, Lambha wards.
