Another hospital suspended from PMJAY in Gujarat
February 03, 2025
Rajkot: Another hospital in the city has been suspended from the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) – Ayushman Bharat scheme. Following the Khyati Hospital scam, a raid and investigation by the State Anti-Fraud Unit revealed several discrepancies at Olympus Hospital on Vidhyanagar Main Road in the city.
It is learned that the hospital management was tampering with the claim amount under the PMJAY health insurance scheme, which provides ₹5 lakh health coverage to beneficiaries for free treatment at empaneled hospitals. After the investigation, Olympus Hospital, operated by Tanna Healthcare Private Limited of Dr. Mihir Tanna, has been suspended from the list of empaneled hospitals under the central government’s scheme.
