The locals have attributed the incident to the negligence of the Dabhoi Municipality. A pit was dug on the main road in the Taiwaga area of Dabhoi. As a biker approached the site, his bike suddenly slipped on the loose soil placed next to the pit, causing him to fall directly into it. The pit had been left open without proper barricading, leading to the accident.
The biker, an elderly man, suffered minor injuries in the fall. The entire incident was captured on the CCTV camera of a nearby house. Witnesses rushed to pull him out of the pit and expressed their anger at the municipality’s negligence. They alleged that despite repeated complaints about the dangerous condition of the road, no action had been taken. DeshGujarat
