Rajkot: A 14-year-old Hindu minor girl form the city has gone missing with a man of another religion who lured her in the name of love after she left home to attend tuition classes. The accused has been identified as Sahil Sandhar.
According to reports, the girl messaged her family, stating, “I am with Sahil and happy.” Concerned for her daughter’s safety, the girl’s mother has appealed to the Minister of State for Home, Harsh Sanghavi, to help bring her back. Meanwhile, Pradyuman Nagar police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
Speaking to the media, the girl’s mother said, “My daughter left for tuition but never returned. The tuition class informed me that she did not attend. I have been searching for her and have approached the police. I suspect Sahil, who hails from Paddhari. He used to work at a hotel with a member of our family, which is how he became a regular visitor at our home. My daughter is only 14 years old, while Sahil is 22. They have been in contact for the past seven to eight months.” DeshGujarat
